ANGELOFF]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to develop a pilot\nfilmmakers grant as part of the City’s Arts Grants Program.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to develop a three-year pilot\nfilmmakers grant as part of the City’s Arts Grants Program, with the first\nround of applications opening in 2025 for funding in 2026; 2) Direct staff to\nbudget $10,000 annually for FY 2026, FY 2027, and FY 2028 as part of\nthe pilot program; and 3) Direct staff to return to Council with a review of\nthe pilot program and recommendations for creating a permanent grant\ncategory.
