QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to enhance the\ncommunity outreach requirements for new projects seeking development\nagreements to include additional noticing and a community meeting.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Direct staff to draft a Zone Text Amendment to:\na. Require new projects seeking development agreements to require\nnoticing within a 1,000-foot radius, rather than the standard 500-foot\nradius currently required, b. Require a neighborhood meeting with\nresidents within a 1,000-foot radius of any project seeking a development\nagreement, including stand-alone billboards, before any City meetings are\nheld; and 2) Direct staff to consider new ways to inform the community\nabout upcoming Design Review Subcommittee meetings.
