PURIFICACION]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will initiate preliminary proceedings regarding\nthe establishment of the West Hollywood Design District (District) for\nFiscal Year 2024-2025. Preliminary steps include the consideration of\napproval of the District annual report and adoption of a Resolution of\nIntention to Levy an Assessment for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 and\nscheduling a Public Hearing for June 10, 2024.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 24-_______: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD APPROVING THE ANNUAL REPORT OF THE\nADVISORY BOARD TO THE WEST HOLLYWOOD DESIGN DISTRICT,\nDECLARING ITS INTENTION TO LEVY AN ASSESSMENT AGAINST\nBUSINESSES WITHIN THE WEST HOLLYWOOD DESIGN DISTRICT\nFOR FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025, AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE\nFOR PUBLIC HEARING”; and 2) Direct staff to notice a Public Hearing to\nbe held on June 10, 2024, to hear protests or objections to the District’s\nproposed assessment and activities for Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
