5) CONSIDERATION TO ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN\nOBSOLETE RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CITY’S RECORDS RETENTION SCHEDULE FOR\nTHE MAINTENANCE AND DISPOSITION OF RECORDS\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Adopt Resolution No. 8302 authorizing the City Clerk and City Attorney to destroy obsolete\nrecords per the Destruction List Approval and detailed in the Request for Destruction of\nRecords pursuant to the State of California, Government Code Section 34090 and the City’s\napproved Records Retention Schedule for the Maintenance and Disposition of Records;\nb. Authorize the City Clerk to certify the Certificate of Destruction; and\nc.
