12. CONTRACT WITH BIG BEN ENGINEERING, INC. FOR FIRETHORNE AREA\nWATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT\nProposed Motion:\n1. Approve Firethorne Area Water Main Replacement Project plans and specifications.\n2. Approve $1,455,000 Water Fund (Fund 44) budget transfer and appropriation from\nCapital Improvement Program (CIP) Project 53250 Water Main System Replacement\nto CIP Project 53044 Firethorne Area Water Main Replacement within the Water Fund\n(Fund 44).\n3. Award $1,288,690 construction contract for Firethorne Area Water Main Replacement\nProject to Big Ben Engineering, Inc. and authorize City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute and administer the contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\n4. Authorize Public Works Director, or designee, to approve any future change orders for\nconstruction and professional engineering construction support services within the\napproved project budget.
