Award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Allison Mechanical, Inc., in the amount of\n$877,000, for the Anaheim Convention Center North Pony Chiller Installation and Related Work\nProject; find that, pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 3400(c)(2), a particular brand of\nequipment was specified in the solicitation for bid in order to match other products in use at the\nAnaheim Convention Center North Facility; authorize the Director of Public Works to execute the\ncontract and related documents and to take the necessary actions to implement and administer\nthe contract; and authorize the Finance Director to execute the Escrow Agreement pertaining to\ncontract retentions.
