5. Award of Maintenance Services Agreement to Real Green, Inc. for Citywide\nWeed Abatement Services\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Award the Maintenance Services Agreement for Citywide Weed Abatement\nServices to Real Green, Inc. in the not-to-exceed amount of $70,436 per\nyear for Fiscal Years 2024-25 through 2026-27, subject to extension\nadministratively for two additional one-year periods;\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 20% contingency of the total contract in the\namount of $14,087 per fiscal year for unforeseen conditions or extra work\nand authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to approve additional\nwork with Real Green Inc. for a total not-to-exceed amount of $84,523 per\nfiscal year, if needed; and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Maintenance Services\nAgreement and future amendments to the agreement for Citywide Weed\nAbatement Services with Real Green Inc., subject to the City Attorney\nmaking non-substantive changes.
