A.5. ACCEPTANCE OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2022 EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL\nJUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM AWARD (Report of:\nCommunity Development)\nRecommendations:\n1. Accept the Fiscal Year 2022 Bureau of Justice Assistance Edward Byrne\nMemorial Justice Assistance Grant Program award of $56,476\nadministered through the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department ;\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute for and on behalf\nof the City of Moreno Valley, agreements and other related documents\nincluding any amendments required by the Bureau of Justice\nAssistance for participation in the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice\nAssistance Grant Program, subject to the approval of the City Attorney;\nand\n3. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer, or his designee, to make any\nnecessary budget adjustments as recommended in the Fiscal Impact\nsection of this report.
