I.22. APPROVE PURCHASE OF ADVANCED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE\nEQUIPMENT FROM ITRON INC. FOR MORENO VALLEY UTILITY AND\nINCREASE THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE EMERGENCY OUTAGE\nRESPONSE ACCOUNT BY $178,036 (Report of: Public Works)\nRecommendation:\n1. Amend the FY 2023/2024 annual budget to increase funding in the\nEmergency Outage Response account 6010-70-80-45510-710134 by\n$178,036; and\n2. Approve the purchase of Advanced Metering Infrastructure equipment\nfrom Itron Inc. up to the council approved amended budget in Moreno\nValley Utility’s Emergency Outage Response account 6010-70-80-\n45510-710134; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute subsequent associated\npurchase orders subject to the approved budget by City Council.
