I.18. AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD AGREEMENTS FOR PROFESSIONAL\nCONSULTANT SERVICES TO MULTIPLE CONSULTANTS FOR ON-CALL\nENGINEERING PLAN CHECK SERVICES (Report of: Public Works)\nRecommendations:\n1. Award Agreements for Professional Services with Charles Abbott\nAssociates, Inc., CValdo Corporation, Engineering Resources of\nSouthern California, Inc., HR Green Pacific, Inc., Interwest Consulting\nGroup, Inc., and NV5, Inc. to provide on-call Engineering Plan Check\nConsultant Services to the Land Development Division; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute each Agreement with the Plan\nCheck Consultants for the total aggregate not-to-exceed amount of\n$600,000.00 each year over the entire multi-year term of the\nAgreements, which include four one-year extensions, beginning in\nFiscal Year 2024/2025, subject to the approval of the City Attorney;\nand\n3. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to issue the related purchase\norders to the Plan Check Consultants, including those over\n$100,000.00 for each consultant and subsequent related purchase\norders, including those over $100,000.00, for annual extensions with\neach consultant, in accordance with the approved terms of the\nAgreements; and\n4. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to make any necessary budget\nadjustment appropriations related to expenditures and the equal and\noffsetting revenues; and\n5. Authorize the City Manager to execute subsequent extensions and/or\namendments to the Agreements with the Plan Check Consultants,\nincluding the authority to authorize associated purchase orders in\naccordance with the Agreements terms, subject to the approval of the\nCity Attorney and within the budgetary amounts previously approved\nby Council as part of the adopted and/or amendment budget process.
