A.9. AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF AN ELECTRIC CARGO VAN FOR THE\nSOLID WASTE PROGRAM (Report of: Financial & Management Services)\nRecommendations:\n1. Authorize the purchase of a 2022/2023 Electric Cargo Van to support the\nSolid Waste & Recycling program.\n2. Authorized the Purchasing & Sustainability Division Manager to issue a\nPurchase Order to a vendor that has an Electric Cargo Van for sale that\nmeets the needed specifications for $75,000 plus sales tax, shipping, and\nmodifications.\n3. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the sales agreement\nand any needed amendments with the selected vendor that has an\nElectric Cargo Van, with required specifications, available for sale.\n4. Authorize the use of the sole source procurement process since inventory\nand manufacturers Electric Cargo Van’s are extremely limited.
