G. PURCHASE OF PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS REPORTING SOFTWARE\nThe Police Department seeks to implement a comprehensive case management\nsoftware with a forward-facing portal that will assist in documenting,\nreferencing, and storing events such as use of force, pursuits, and complaints.\nAdditionally, the system will provide management with early intervention\nopportunities to address training and behavioral issues. The Fiscal Year 2023-\n2024 adopted budget for Contractual Services-General, 121-751-00-22-000,\nincluded $25,000 to pay for software no longer in use. The savings from\nterminating this contract can be reallocated to this project, which has an initial\ncost of $14,500. Once purchased, the annual licensing fee for continued use will\nbe $9,600.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter\ninto an agreement with Versaterm, a global public safety software company, for\nthe product IA Pro software.
