E. AWARD OF PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT TO ELECNOR BELCO ELECTRIC,\nINC. FOR UPGRADING EXISTING TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM AT THE\nINTERSECTION OF BALDWIN AVE AND LIVE OAK PROJECT (CIP NO. P24-\n03)\nThe City Council is requested to award a public works contract for upgrading the\nexisting Traffic Signal System at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Live Oak\nProject.\nRecommendation:\n1. Award a Public Works Contract (Contract) to Elecnor Belco Electric, Inc.\n(Attachment “A”) as the lowest responsible bidder in an amount of\n$433,740.00 for the Upgrading Existing Traffic Signal System at the\nIntersection of Baldwin Ave and Live Oak Project, CIP No. P24-03;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Contract; and\n3. Authorize 15% of the total contract amount as contingency allowance to be\nused if necessary for unforeseen conditions at the City Manager’s discretion.
