ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AT 945 CHESTNUT AVENUE FROM SOLUTIONS FOR CHANGE,\nCONSIDERATION OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO IDENTIFY A NEW OWNER FOR THE CONTINUED\nUSE OF PROPERTY AS AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT AND DECLARATION OF THE PROPERTY TO\nBE EXEMPT SURPLUS LAND – 1) Adoption of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute all\ndocuments necessary to complete the acquisition of 945 Chestnut Avenue from Solutions for Change,\nand authorizing the City Clerk to execute the certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of\nthe grant deed to complete the property transfer; and\n2) Adoption of a resolution authorizing the City Manager to release a request for proposals with the\nintent to identify a new owner for the 100 percent affordable housing project at 945 Chestnut Avenue;\nand\n3) Adoption of a resolution declaring the property located at 945 Chestnut Avenue as exempt surplus\nland in accordance with California Government Code Sections 54221(f)(1)(A) and 37364.
