8. Irrigation Controllers Replacement - Award of Contract No. 9527-1\na) Determine this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15060(c)(3) of the CEQA\nGuidelines because this action will not result in a physical change to the\nenvironment, directly or indirectly;\nb) Award Contract No. 9527-1 to American Landscape, Inc. for the total bid price\nof $729,950 for the replacement of 59 irrigation controllers, and authorize the\nMayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement; and\nc) Establish a contingency of $36,500 (approximately 5% of total bid) to cover\nthe cost of unforeseen work not included in the original contract.\nStaff Report\nAttachment A - Contract
