5A. RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND APPROVAL OF A\nCONTRACT WITH G&A NELOS CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR THE MAGNOLIA\nAVENUE WATER MAIN INTERCONNECT PROJECT\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution approving the plans and\nspecifications for the Magnolia Avenue Water Main Interconnect Project; 2)\nAward a contract to G&A Nelos Construction, Inc. in the amount of\n$627,164.; 3) Authorize contingency funds in the amount of $64,766.; 4)\nAuthorize a purchase order for The Solis Group in the amount of $6,725 for\nadministration of the Community Workforce Agreement (CWA); 5) Authorize\ncontingency funds in the amount of $1,345 for the CWA administration; 6)\nAuthorize the City Manager and City Clerk to make any necessary, non-\nmonetary changes to the contract; and, 7) Authorize the City Manager and\nCity Clerk to execute the contract.
