Citizen-Council Parking Advisory Ad Hoc Committee Recommendations\nand Possible City Council Direction on Parking Program Improvements,\nIncluding Whether and How to Proceed with Paid Parking on Main Street\n- That the City Council receive and file the recommendations of the Citizen-\nCouncil Parking Advisory Ad Hoc Committee and, if desired by the Council,\nprovide direction to staff on whether and how to proceed with paid parking on\nMain Street or to implement other changes to the City’s parking program. If\nthe Council desires to establish a parking meter zone on Main Street and fix\nthe rate of parking meter fees, then staff would return with an ordinance to\nimplement the Council’s direction at a later date.
