Item No. 21. 2023-0071 CONSIDER AWARDING A PUBLIC WORKS\nCONTRACT TO BARKSHIRE LASER LEVELING INC.\nTO LASER LEVEL THE BASEBALL DIAMOND\nINFIELDS AT DOMINGUEZ PARK AND DOLPHIN\nPARK.\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. AWARD and APPROVE the Public Works Agreement with\nBarkshire Laser Leveling Inc. for laser leveling of the baseball\ninfields at Dominguez Park and Dolphin Park, for a not-to-exceed\ncontract sum of $40,000 (Exhibit No. 1)\n2. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of construction contingencies in\nthe amount of $4,000 (10%) for any unforeseen construction work\nsuch as substructure conflicts, contaminated soil removal and\ndisposal, material testing, and other work that may be necessary to\ncomplete the project.\n3.
