7. Approval of Maintenance Services Agreement Amendments for Various\nMaintenance Services in Support of Public Works Department Functions\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve Amendments to the subject Maintenance Services Agreements, to\nexercise an optional one-year term extension;\n2. Approve the increase in the total annual not-to-exceed contract amount by\nthree percent (3%) for Fiscal Year 2024-25 on the Amendments to the\nMaintenance Services Agreements with Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc.;\nBPR, Inc.; Commercial Building Management Services, Inc.; Donald F.\nHolly and Son, Inc. dba Fullerton Electric Company; M. Brey Electric, Inc.;\nOtis Worldwide Corporation dba Otis Elevator Company; RTS Solutionz,\nInc. dba Solutionz; Superior Property Services, Inc.; and Team One\nManagement Services;\n3. Approve the increase in the total annual not-to-exceed contract amount by\n$30,000 with Real Estate Consulting & Services, Inc. to accommodate\nadditional maintenance needs at City-owned parks and playgrounds;\n4. Approve the three percent (3%) price increases and the increases in the\ntotal annual not-to-exceed contract amounts by $30,000 on the\nMaintenance Services Agreements with Zimprich Engineering, Inc. and\nJamey Clark, Inc. to accommodate additional maintenance needs at City-\nowned facilities, and on the Maintenance Services Agreement with Jamey\nClark, Inc. to accommodate additional maintenance needs at City-owned\nparks and playgrounds;\n5. Approve the addition of a not-to-exceed 20% contingency of the total\ncontract amount equal to $10,300 on Amendment No. 1 with Otis Worldwide\nCorporation dba Otis Elevator Company, for additional elevator repair and\nmaintenance services and authorize the Public Works Director/City\nEngineer to approve the additional work;\n6. Approve the addition of a price escalation clause applicable to the remaining\nfuture option year extension in the Amendments to the Maintenance\nServices Agreements with Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc.; BPR, Inc.; Jamey\nClark, Inc.; Otis Worldwide Corporation dba Otis Elevator Company; Real\nEstate Consulting and Services, Inc.; RTS Solutionz, Inc. dba Solutionz;\nand Zimprich Engineering, Inc.;\n7. Assign all legal requirements on the Maintenance Services Agreement for\nAudio Visual Success Plan for the Crown Valley Community Center to RTS\nSolutionz, Inc. dba Solutionz as a result of their acquisition of Presentation\nProducts, Inc. dba Spinitar; and,\n8. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Maintenance Services\nAmendments, and future amendments to the agreements, subject to the\nCity Attorney making non-substantive changes.
