Resolution to Adopt a Memorandum of Understanding\nBetween the City of Placentia and the Placentia Police and\nFire Management Association Fiscal Impact: Fiscal Year\n2023-34 & Fiscal Year 2024-25 $ 635,000 (Estimated)\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City\nCouncil:\n1) Adopt Resolution R-2024-36 approving the terms\nbetween the City and the Police and Fire Management\nAssociation (PPFMA); and\n2) Adopt Resolution No. R-2024-37, A Resolution of the\nCity Council of the City of Placentia, California\nauthorizing a budget amendment in Fiscal Year 2023-\n24 in compliance with City Charter of the City of\nPlacentia §§1206 and §§1209 pertaining to\nappropriations for actual expenditures; and\n3) Authorize the City Administrator to execute a\nMemorandum of Understanding (MOU) based upon\nthe terms for PPFMA on behalf of the City, in a form\napproved by the City’s Labor Counsel.\nStaff Report\nResolution R-2024-36\nPPFMA MOU
