City Council

1. Adoption of Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Operating and Capital Budget, and\nApproval of Updates to Fee Schedule for Community Development Services\nand Amending the Fee for Usage of Credit and Debit Cards\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution 2024-1478, Approving the City of Laguna Niguel Fiscal\nYear 2024-2025 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget;\n2. Hold a Public Hearing, and adopt Resolution 2024-1479, Amending the\nCommunity Development Fee Schedule and Amend the Fee for the Use of\nCity Credit/Debit Cards for Payments to the City, and Making a Finding of\nExemption Under CEQA in Connection Therewith;\n3. Adopt Resolution 2024-1480, Establishing the Appropriation Limit (Gann\nLimit) for the City of Laguna Niguel for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025;\n4. Adopt Salary Resolution No. 2024-1481, Relating to Updating Salary\nRanges for Designated Classifications Included in the Orange County\nEmployee Association (OCEA) Maintenance, Clerical and Technical Unit\nand the Middle Management, Professional and Supervisory Unit;\n5. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-1482, Relating to Updating Compensation for\nDesignated Unrepresented Executive and Management Employee\nClassifications; and,\n6. Commit the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 $1.1 million budget surplus to the\nInfrastructure Replacement and Deferred Maintenance Reserve.
