ADOPTION OF RESOLUTIONS CALLING AND GIVING NOTICE OF\nHOLDING A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 5, 2024 FOR\nTHE ELECTION OF CERTAIN MUNICIPAL OFFICERS, AND REQUESTING\nTHE SAN DIEGO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO CONSOLIDATE\nTHE CITY'S GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE\nGENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE SAME DATE\nRecommendation: Consider adoption of Resolution 2024­31 calling and giving\nnotice of the holding of a General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday,\nNovember 5, 2024, for the election of Mayor and two Members of the City Council\nand Resolution 2024­32 requesting the consolidation with the Statewide General\nElection with the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors and direct the City\nClerk to file copies of the appropriate resolutions with the San Diego County Board\nof Supervisors and the San Diego County Registrar of Voters.
