THEATRE FEE REDUCTION REQUEST BY SAN GABRIEL LION’S CLUB –\nTHANKS USA CARE FAIR\nSan Gabriel Lion’s Club has requested a waiver of rental fees for their upcoming\ncommunity Thanks USA Care Fair event, scheduled to take place on June 22,\n2024, in the Mission Playhouse parking lot, Glass Room and lobby. The request\nis for a $2,900 reduction to reduce their rental cost to $2.50. The current rental\nsubsidy account has sufficient funds to cover a recommended facility rental\nwaiver of $1,615.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council grant a partial waiver of the San Gabriel\nMission Playhouse rental fee in the amount of $1,615 for the June 22, 2024,\nLion’s Club Thanks USA Care Fair event.
