G. ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 24-27 APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-2025\nSENATE BILL 1 ROAD REPAIR AND ACCOUNTABILITY ACT PROJECT LIST\nTHAT WILL ALLOW THE CITY OF SAN GABRIEL TO RECEIVE AN ESTIMATED\n$1,009,951\nSenate Bill 1 (SB1), also known as Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017,\nprovides the City of San Gabriel with access to funds for basic road\nmaintenance, rehabilitation, and safety projects. Adoption of Resolution No.\n24-27 will allow the City to receive SB1 funding estimated by the State of\nCalifornia to be $1,009,951 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. To qualify for funding\nunder the Act, the City must adopt a list of eligible street improvement projects.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 24-27 and\nauthorize the Public Works Director to file necessary documentation to satisfy\nSenate Bill 1 funding requirements and act as the authorized signatory for\nmatters related to Fiscal Year 2024-2025 funding.
