Exclusive Negotiation Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Economic Opportunity, on behalf of\nLos Angeles County Development Authority, to extend the term of the Exclusive\nNegotiating Agreement (ENA) among the Compton Unified School District\n(CUSD), the Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) and Charles\nDrew University/Martin Luther King Wellness Collaborative, LLC through June\n30, 2025, in order to negotiate the potential development of properties located\nalong 117th Street and 1667 East 118th Street in unincorporated Willowbrook\n(2), extend the term of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between\nLACDA and CUSD to extend the term through June 30, 2025, extend the term\nof the ENA and MOU, for an additional 180 days, if needed, execute any and all\nrelated or ancillary documents or amendments to the ENA and MOU necessary\nto effectuate the action authorized hereby, and collect deposits and fees in\nconnection with the terms of the amended ENA and MOU, and administer the\nexpenses and accounting associated with the amended ENA and MOU; and find\nthat the recommended actions do not constitute a project under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act.
