49. Los Angeles County Pedestrian Plans for Unincorporated Communities\nContract\nRecommendation: Authorize and instruct the Director of Public Health to\nexecute a new contract with City Fabrick, selected under a competitive\nsolicitation process, for the Los Angeles County Pedestrian Plans for\nUnincorporated Communities (ATP 6) Project (1 and 2), for a 36-month term\neffective upon execution, for a total amount of $397,000, 100% funded by\nCalifornia Department of Transportation Active Transportation Program funds;\nand authorize the Director to take the following actions: (Department of Public\nHealth) APPROVE\nExecute amendments to contracts that extend the term up to two\nadditional one-year periods at amounts to be determined by the Director,\ncontingent upon the availability of funds and contractor performance;\nallow the rollover of unspent contract funds, if allowable by the grantor;\nprovide an increase or decrease in funding up to 10% above or below\nthe annual base maximum obligation, update the statement of work and/or\nActivity Reimbursement Plan as a result of such increase or decrease in\nfunding, effective upon execution, and/or correct errors in the contract’s\nterms and conditions;\nExecute change notices to the contract that authorize modifications to the\nand corresponding modifications to the statement of work, that are within\nthe same scope of services, as necessary, and/or changes to hours of\noperation and/or service locations; and\nImmediately suspend or terminate the contract upon issuing a written\nnotice to the contractor if the contractor fails to fully comply with\ncontractual requirements and terminate the contracts for convenience by\nproviding a 30-calendar day advance written notice to the contractor, if\nnecessary.
