Children’s Law Center to Funding Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services, to\nexecute a funding agreement with the Children’s Law Center to cover costs\nassociated with a dedicated courtroom for Commercially Sexually Exploited\nChildren (CSEC), effective July 15, 2024 through July 14, 2025, with up to two\none-year extension options, for a maximum annual amount of $295,000 for the\ninitial year and $295,000 for each one-year extension option, for a total\nmaximum amount of $885,000, financed by State Optional CSEC funds;\nexecute amendments to extend the term; increase or decrease the maximum\nannual amount not to exceed 10%; change the terms and conditions as\nnecessary to meet programmatic needs; and terminate the agreement for\nconvenience or default, if necessary.
