34. Youth Permanency Partners Services Sole Source Contract\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services to\nexecute a sole source contract with Kidsave International, Inc., for the Youth\nPermanency Partners (YPP) program, to recruit and support adults who\nvolunteer to mentor older foster youth and help them find a permanent family or\nlasting connection, effective July 1, 2024, or upon date of execution, to June\n30, 2025, with a one-year renewal option through June 15, 2026, with a\nmaximum contract amount for the initial contract period of $200,000, and a\nmaximum contract amount for the renewal option of $200,000, for and a total\nmaximum contract amount of $400,000, utilizing 100% State Flexible Family\nSupport funds; and authorize the Director to take the following actions:\n(Department of Children and Family Services) APPROVE\nExercise a one-year renewal option by written notice, provided that\nfunding is available;\nExecute amendments to increase or decrease the maximum annual\ncontract amount by up to 10%, if such an amendment is necessary to\nmeet changes in service demands and the necessary funding is available\nin the budget; and\nExecute amendments to the contract for necessary changes to the terms\nand conditions.
