37. Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning, Intersex,\nAsexual, Two-Spirit+ Tailored Services Contracts\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services to\nprepare and execute two contracts with Penny Lane Centers and Los Angeles\nLGBT Center to provide Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and\nQueer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Two-Spirit+ (LGBTQIA2S+) tailored\nservices to Department of Children and Family Services supervised youth,\neffective July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, with two one-year extension\noptions through June 30, 2027, with a maximum contract amount for each\ncontract to be $400,000 for each Service Planning Area served by each\nagency, for a maximum annual budget of $3,200,000, and for a total maximum\nbudget, if all extension options are exercised, of $9,600,000, financed using\n100% Local funds; and authorize the Director to take the following actions:\n(Department of Children and Family Services) APPROVE\nExercise the two one-year extension options by written notice or\namendment, provided that sufficient funding is available; and\nExecute amendments to make changes to the contract terms and\nconditions, or to increase or decrease the maximum annual contract\namounts not to exceed 20%, when necessary to meet program needs,\nprovided that sufficient funding is available; and\nTerminate the contract with contractors upon their request, and those that\nare in default of their contract requirements, for contractor default or for\nconvenience of the County, if necessary.
