44. Temporary Healthcare Personnel Agreements\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Health Services to execute\namendments to temporary healthcare personnel agreements, for the continued\nprovision of as-needed medical services, effective upon execution following\nBoard approval, to extend the term of each agreement for the period of July 1,\n2024 through June 30, 2025, with two one-year extension options, at an\nestimated annual amount of $298,000,000; execute new agreements for\ntemporary healthcare personnel with qualified entities; execute new and\nsuccessor master agreements for temporary, as-needed specialty medical\nservices with qualified medical professionals, effective July 1, 2024 through\nJune 30, 2025, with four one-year extension options, for a maximum agreement\nterm of five years and an estimated annual amount of $53,000,000; and\nexercise term extension options, add, delete, and/or modify certain terms and\nconditions of the agreements as required by law, modify the agreements,\nincluding scope of services, classifications and compensation within the\nmaximum compensation limits, for operational efficiencies and to address\nchanges in service needs, with corresponding changes to payment terms,\nincorporate and/or revise non-substantive and administrative terms and\nconditions, increase and otherwise adjust compensation for existing and new\nclassifications in order to allow for service differentials, to remain competitive\nwith market rates and to respond to emergencies, and effect termination of\nagreements, as necessary.
