51. High Impact HIV Prevention and STD Community Engagement Services\nSole Source Contract\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to execute\nsole source contract amendments to nine High Impact HIV Prevention (HIHP)\nand STD Community Engagement (STD CE) services contract providers, to\nextend the term through June 30, 2025, at a total maximum obligation of\n$2,439,170, 100% funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\n(CDC) funds, Non-Drug Medi-Cal Realignment (NDMR) funds, and existing\nDepartmental resources; and net County costs (NCC); and authorize the\nDirector to take the following actions: (Department of Public Health)\nAPPROVE\nExecute amendments to contracts that extend the term through\nDecember 31, 2025, at amounts to be determined by the Director,\ncontingent upon the availability of funds and contractor performance;\nallow the rollover of unspent contract funds, if allowable by the grantor;\nprovide an increase or decrease in funding up to 10% above or below\nthe annual base maximum obligation, effective upon amendment\nexecution, or at the beginning of the applicable contract period; correct\nerrors in the contracts' terms and conditions; and/or update the statement\nof work and/or scope of work, as necessary;\nExecute change notices to the contracts that authorize modifications with\ncorresponding modifications to the statement of work and/or scope of\nwork, that are within the same scope of services, as necessary, and\nchanges to hours of operation and/or service locations; and\nImmediately suspend or terminate the services contracts upon issuing a\nwritten notice to HIHP and/or STD CE services contractors who fail to\nperform and/or fully comply with contract requirements and terminate the\ncontracts for convenience by providing a 30-calendar day advance\nwritten notice to contractors, if necessary.
