43. Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic Services Agreements\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Health Services to execute\nsuccessor Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) services\nagreements with the County’s approved private paramedic providers, effective\nJuly 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029, with automatic one-year extensions\nthrough June 30, 2034, for the provision of Advanced Life Support (ALS)\nservices, at no cost to the County; execute future amendments to the\nagreements to make necessary changes to the scope of work, add, delete\nand/or change non substantive terms and conditions in the agreements, and\nadd, delete, and/or change terms and conditions as mandated by Federal or\nState law or regulation, County Policy, or the Board; execute form EMT-P\nservices agreement with any future County-approved private paramedic\nproviders, during the initial agreement term and any extension thereof, for the\nprovision of ALS services, at no cost to the County; and terminate each\nagreement in accordance with the termination provisions of the corresponding\nagreement, if necessary.
