19. Approve Updated Resolutions Authorizing Participation in Round 2 of the\nHomekey Program\nRecommendation as submitted by Supervisor Horvath: Adopt resolutions,\nauthorizing and directing the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer,\nAssistant Chief Executive Officer, or Executive Director of the Los Angeles\nCounty Homeless Initiative, to submit joint Applications to the California\nDepartment of Housing and Community Development (HCD) in response to the\nNotice of Funding Availability (NOFA), dated September 9, 2021, and to jointly\napply for Homekey Program (Homekey) grant funds in the amounts indicated in\neach authorizing resolution, and approve 14 projects, including the four projects\nlocated at 716 South Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach, 10317 Whittier\nBoulevard in Whittier, 14032 South Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, and 506\nNorth Evergreen Avenue in Los Angeles (Projects) , for the Homekey Round 2\nNOFA; authorize the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Assistant\nChief Executive Officer, or Executive Director of the Los Angeles County\nHomeless Initiative, to enter into, execute, and deliver Standard Agreement(s)\nwith the HCD in a total amount not to exceed the amounts specified in each\nauthorizing resolution, and any and all other documents required or deemed\nnecessary or appropriate to secure the Homekey funds from the California\nDepartment of Housing and Community Development and to participate in\nHomekey, and all amendments thereto; find that the four Projects, and the\nacquisition and renovation or development, as applicable, of the Projects, are\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act .
