45. Non-County Trauma Center Provisions for Reimbursement Memorandum\nof Agreement Amendments\nRecommendation: Approve the funding methodology and allocation of Trauma\nCenter Provisions for Reimbursement (TCPR) funding for Fiscal Year (FY)\n2023-24, and authorize the Director of Health Services to execute amendments\nto the TCPR memorandum of agreement with 13 non-County trauma centers, to\nextend the term for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, and\ninclude the funding terms for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024,\nfor a total County obligation of approximately $76,307,000, comprised of\n$72,957,000 from Measure B funds, $2,521,000 from the Maddy Emergency\nMedical Services Fund, and $829,000 from the Richie's Fund; and authorize\nthe Director to allocate up to a maximum of $48,596,000 of the Measure B\nfunds to be used as an Intergovernmental Transfer to the California Department\nof Health Care Services to draw down Federal matching dollars for\nsupplemental Medi-Cal payments to eligible non-County trauma centers; and\nallocate the amount of $115,000 from the Richie's Fund to two County Pediatric\nTrauma Centers.
