56. Pest Control Services Agreement\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Agricultural Commissioner/Director\nof Weights and Measures to execute an agreement with Los Angeles World\nAirports (LAWA), to provide pest control services on property owned or\nmanaged by LAWA including Los Angeles and Van Nuys airports (2 and 3), for\nthe period of January 16, 2024 through August 31, 2027, in the amount of\n$1,300,000, at no Net County Cost; execute amendments to the agreement\nwhich increase the agreement amount not to exceed $2,800,000, or which\nextend the term for a period up to five years beyond the original expiration date;\nand provide additional pest control services customarily rendered by the\nDepartment that are not currently part of this agreement in the areas of\nvertebrate, vegetation, and insect pest management.
