68. Maintenance and Repair Services Contract\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), authorize the Fire Chief to sign a contract between\nthe District and The BoatYard, to provide maintenance and repair services for\nthe District’s rescue vehicles including fireboats, lifeguard rescue boats,\nwatercraft and all-terrain/utility vehicles, on an as needed intermittent basis for\nan initial term of three years and with up to two one-year and twelve\nmonth-to-month extension options, for a maximum contract term of six years,\neffective July 1, 2024; authorize the maximum contract amount of $1,800,000 in\naggregate, including the initial contract term and extension options, with a\nmaximum contract amount comprised of annual expenditures not to exceed a\ntotal of $300,000 per contract year; authorize the Fire Chief to execute\namendments, suspensions, or termination if deemed necessary, including the\nextension options, and in accordance with the approved contract terms and\nconditions, provided the amounts payable under such amendments do not\nexceed the $300,000 annual budget; and find that the contract is exempt from\nthe California Environmental Quality Act.
