9.7\nA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDING FROM THE\nCALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR\nTHE CALHOME GRANT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A\nPROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH GLOBAL URBAN STRATEGIES,\nINC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ADMINSTRATIVE SERVICES FOR THE\nCALHOME GRANT PROGRAM\nComments:\nStaff requests that the City Council consider approving a Resolution of the City Council of\nthe City of Lynwood authorizing the acceptance of funding from the California Department\nof Housing and Community Development for the CalHome Grant and a Resolution of the\nCity Council of the City of Lynwood authorizing the approval of a professional service\nagreement with Global Urban Strategies, Inc. for the purpose of providing administrative\nservices for the CalHome grant program. (CD)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt the attached Resolution entitled “ A Resolution of the City Council of the City\nof Lynwood, authorizing the acceptance of funding from the California Department\nof Housing and Community Development for the CalHome Grant.”\n2. Adopt the attached Resolution entitled “A Resolution of the City Council of the City\nof Lynwood, authorizing the approval of a professional service agreement with\nGlobal Urban Strategies, Inc. for the purpose of providing administrative services for\nthe CalHome grant program.”
