9.6 RESOLUTION DECLARING OBSOLETE AND NON-FUNCTIONAL COMPUTERS AND\nPERIPHERALS AS SURPLUS EQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL\nTHROUGH E-WASTE CLEANUP.\nComments:\nAfter years of service, certain city-owned computer equipment and peripherals have\neither reached the end of their service life, become damaged beyond repair, or have\nbecome obsolete. These items include obsolete and non-functional computers, monitors,\ntablets, printers, network equipment, and telephone equipment. The obsolete equipment\nwill be picked up by a certified recycling center at no cost to the City. (IT)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled; “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACTING AS THE\nSURPLUS PROPERTY COMMISSION DECLARING OBSOLETE AND NON-\nFUNCTIONAL COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND PERIPHERALS AS SURPLUS\nEQUIPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THEIR DISPOSAL THROUGH E-WASTE\nCLEANUP”.
