10.3 AGREEMENT WITH IBE DIGITAL TO UPGRADE AND MODERNIZE INFORMATION\nTECHNOLOGY NEEDS IN THE CITY\nComments:\nThe City's current data center was purchased and implemented at the end of 2017. As\nthe average lifecycle of a data center is five years, the City has maximized its return on\ninvestment and planned to invest in a new data center for fiscal year 2023-25. In addition\nto the data center, the City plans to upgrade its network infrastructure, implement network\nsecurity, install Wi-Fi in City Hall and City Hall Annex, and upgrade backup software. (IT)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled; “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A\nTWO YEAR AGREEMENT WITH IBE DIGITAL TO PROVIDE SERVICES, HARDWARE,\nAND SOFTWARE TO UPGRADE AND MODERNIZE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY\nNEEDS IN THE CITY”.
