9.8 FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE LYNWOOD DIAL-A-TAXI AGREEMENT\nComments:\nFor the past 25 years, the City of Lynwood has offered an on-demand (Dial-a-Ride)\ntransportation program to serve the needs of its seniors. The service is provided to senior\ncitizens and physically disabled persons for medical appointments, grocery shopping, and\nparticipation in Senior Center activities. Staff recommends the resolution be approved to\napprove the First Amendment and extend the term of the agreement through December\n18, 2024. (REC)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve the attached resolution entitled; “ A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING\nTHE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE LYNWOOD DIAL-A-TAXI CONTRACT WITH\nFIESTA TAXI COOPERATIVE, INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ERXCUTE\nTHE FIRST AMENDMENT EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT THROUGH\nDECEMBER 18, 2024, FOR A NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $200,000 .”
