8.e APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 5, 2024 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION RESOLUTION\nNOS. 2024-40, 2024-41, & 2024-42 TO COMMENCE THE ELECTION PROCESS. (0430-\n40)\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council adopts the following resolutions:\n1. Resolution No. 2024-40 calling for the holding of a General Municipal Election to be\nheld on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election of certain officers as required\nby the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law\nCities;\n2. Resolution No. 2024-41 requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of San\nDiego to conduct and consolidate a General Municipal Election to be held on\nTuesday, November 5, 2024, with the Statewide General Election to be held on the\nsame date pursuant to §10403 of the Elections Code; and\n3. Resolution No. 2024-42 adopting regulations for candidates for elective office\npertaining to candidates statements submitted to the voters at an election to be\nheld on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
