D Consideration and possible action to adopt the following resolutions relative\nto the November 5, 2024, Special and General Municipal Election:\nResolution No. 24-28 - A Resolution calling for a Special and General\nMunicipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election\nof City Council Members as required by the provisions of the Laws of the\nState of California relating to general law cities; and\nResolution No. 24-29 - A Resolution requesting the Board of Supervisors of\nthe County of Los Angeles to consolidate the City of Bellflower’s Special and\nGeneral Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, with\nthe General Election to be held on the date pursuant to Section 10403 of the\nElections Code; and\nResolution No. 24-30 – A Resolution adopting regulations for candidates for\nelective office pertaining to candidates’ statements submitted to the voters\nat a Special and General Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday,\nNo. 16-78.\nRecommendation to City Council: 1) Adopt Resolution Nos. 24-28, 24-29, and\n24-30; or 2) Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.\n14 CONSENT CALENDAR – Continued
