9M. SELECTION OF FIREWORKS LICENSEES FOR 2024\nCity Council may select licensees for 2024 fireworks sales.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that the action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”) under Section 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines as the activity\nis covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the\npotential for causing significant effect on the environment. Where is can be seen with\ncertainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant\neffect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA; and\n2. Award a fireworks sales license to Youth Assistance Foundation of Stanton and Boys\n& Girls Club of Stanton.\nEND OF CONSENT CALENDAR
