9H. AWARD A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO BRIGHTVIEW\nLANDSCAPE SERVICES, INC. FOR CITYWIDE LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE\nSERVICES\nAs the current contract is set to expire on June 30, 2024, City staff released a “Request\nfor Proposal” (RFP) soliciting proposals to provide landscape maintenance services\ncitywide. Staff recommends awarding a three-year contract to West Coast Arborist, Inc.\nin an amount not-to-exceed $1,245,000 or $415,000 annually.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nJune 11, 2024\n1. City Council declare this project to be categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA), Class 1, Section 15301(h) as maintenance of\nexisting landscaping; and\n2. Award a professional services agreement to BrightView Landscape Services, Inc. to\nprovide landscape maintenance services for three-years in an amount not-to-exceed\n$1,245,000 or $415,000 annually; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to bind the City of Stanton and BrightView Landscape\nServices, Inc. in a contract to provide the services.
