INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1069, SERIES\nC CODE AMENDMENTS OF TITLE 9 (ZONING REGULATIONS), CHAPTER 1\n(ZONING CODE) AND AN AMENDMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE\nELEMENT TO CLARIFY MIXED-USE AND RESIDENTIAL DENSITIES\nThe City Council is requested to hold a public hearing regarding the proposed\namendments to Series C Code Amendments of Title 9 (Zoning Regulations),\nChapter 1 (Zoning Code).\nPresenter: Community Development Director and\nAssociate Planner\nRecommendation:\n1. Conduct the public hearing;\n2. Find that the project is exempt from further environmental review pursuant to\nSections 15061(b)(3) and 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) Guidelines;\n3. Introduce for first reading by title only and waive further reading of Ordinance\nNo. 23-1069 (Attachment “A”), Series C Code Amendments of Title 9 (Zoning\nRegulations), Chapter 1 (Zoning Code);\n4. Schedule the second reading of Ordinance No. 23-1069 for March 7, 2023;\nand\n5. Schedule the adoption of Resolution No. 23-5653 (Attachment “B”),\nAmendments to the General Plan Land Use Element to Clarify Mixed-Use and\nResidential Densities (Attachment “C”), for March 7, 2023.
