a) REPORT INTRODUCTION OF AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ZONING TEXT\n24-0285 AMENDMENT 24-02 TO AMEND TITLE 17 OF THE HERMOSA\nBEACH MUNICIPAL CODE FOR HOUSING ELEMENT-RELATED\nREGULATIONS PERTAINING TO MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT,\nREVIEW PROCESSES, AND MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL\nPARKING REQUIREMENTS\n(Community Development Director Carrie Tai)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Introduce by title only and waive first reading of an Ordinance of the City of Hermosa\nBeach, California, approving Zone Text Amendment 24-02, amending Hermosa Beach\nMunicipal Code (HBMC) related to standards for mixed-use developments, review\nprocesses, and reducing multi-family residential parking requirements, and determine\nthat the amendment is consistent with the PLAN Hermosa Environmental Impact Report\nin accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and\n2.
