C. Approval to Accept FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Funds for Local Hazard Mitigation Plan\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section 15061(b)(3)\n(Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)\nGuidelines.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to accept a grant awarded in an amount of $135,000 from\nthe Department of Homeland Security for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program in the City\nManager’s Office, and to accept all grant renewals.\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the grant and\nall grant renewals.\n4. Adopt the attached resolution with the State of California, Governor’s Office of\nEmergency Services (CalOES) Program.\n5.
