F. Traffic Signal Maintenance Services — Award of Contract\nThe current contract for traffic signal maintenance services with St. Francis Electric\nwill expire on June 30, 2024. The scope of work for this contract includes performing\nroutine preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs to traffic\nsignals, traffic signal equipment, safety streetlights, flashing beacons, speed feedback\nsigns, in -pavement flashing crosswalk lights, and other related equipment by duly\ntrained and qualified personnel.\nA Request for Proposals was posted to the City' s P1anetBids vendor portal, and four\nproposals were received on May 23, 2024. Staff reviewed the proposals for\ncompleteness, understanding of scope of work, methodology, experience, and cost;\nand is recommending the award of a new contract to St. Francis Electric for a total\nannual cost of $200, 000 for traffic signal maintenance services.\nlune 11, 2024\nSpecial & Regular Joint Meeting Agenda\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into a\nthree- year contract with St. Francis Electric for an amount not -to -exceed $ 200, 000\nper year, with the option for up to two one- year extensions.
