CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-189,\nAUTHORIZING THE PROGRAMMING OF TRANSPORTATION\nDEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS\nFOR FISCAL YEARS 2023-24 AND 2024-25\nProvide the City Council with recommendations for programming during\nfiscal years 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 for the allocation of Transportation\nDevelopment Act (“TDA”) Article 3 Bicycle And Pedestrian Funds for\nSidewalk Improvement Projects.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-189, allowing the City to program TDA\nfunds for FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25 for Citywide Sidewalk\nImprovement Projects; and\n2. Allow the City Manager to adjust the TDA program budgets as\nnecessary throughout FY 2023-24 and FY 2024-25, for the timely\nexpenditure of TDA funds according to the Los Angeles County\nMetropolitan Transportation Authority guideline.
