7.f. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 24-188,\nAPPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO RENEW AND EXTEND THE\nAGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH EL MONTE AND\nHUNTINGTON CULINARY, INC. FOR SENIOR NUTRITION SERVICES\nThe City of South El Monte ("City") in partnership with, Los Angeles\nCounty Aging and Disabilities Department ("County") provides meals\nthrough the elderly nutrition program. The County provides baseline\nfunding, in which the City has entered into a Professional Services\nAgreement ("Agreement") with Huntington Culinary, Inc. for hot and to-go\nmeals which expires on June 30, 2024. Amendment No. 1 will renew and\nextend the Agreement for three (3) additional one (1) year terms.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-188, approving Amendment No. 1\nrenewing and extending the current agreement between the City\nand the County for three (3) additional one (1) year terms; and\n2. Authorize City Manager or designee to execute agreement.
